Van Gogh siempre sintió pasión por las clases humildes, los trabajadores del campo, a tal punto, que quedaba sin comer él mismo por compartir con ellos lo poco que tenía. A través de todos los años que estuvo tratando de hacer un nicho artístico para él en Holanda, Francia y Bélgica, mantuvo correspondencia contínua por años con su amado hermano Theo, quién a pesar de ser menor cuatro años menor que Vincent, nunca lo abandonó y siempre lo apoyó económicamente, le dió sugerencias y consejos de cambiar la paleta triste y aburrida con la cual pintaba Van Gogh. 

Van Gogh  was always passionate about drawing  peasants, farm workers. He loved to be in touch with them, and help them out to the point that many times he went without food because He shared with them what little he had. Through all those years, he was trying to make an artistic niche for him in Paris, France. For this reason,  he maintained continuous correspondence exchange for years with his beloved brother Theo, who despite being less four years younger than Vincent, never abandoned  him, and always supported him financially, gave suggestions and advice to change the sad and dull palette with which Van Gogh painted.

Estas cartas que están empapadas de su arte, destilan por doquier bosquejos de dibujos hechos con lápiz, tinta, pasteles, usando papeles ingres, pergamino y hasta un sobre, son los testigos más cercanos de la frustración, depresión,  locura, alucinaciones, soledad, penurias y miedos de Van Gogh. Y este pequeño video lo llevará por muchos de esos fascinantes dibujos hechos con impresionantes trazos y detalles y el cual lo pondrá un poquito a pensar cuando Van Gogh expresa su preocupación "porque no sabía dibujar". Muchos de estos dibujos Van Gogh los convirtió en preciosas pinturas. Those letters were soaked on his art, distilling  sketches of  wonderful drawings in pencil, ink, pastels, using Ingres paper, parchment and even an envelope. They are the closest witnesses of Van Gogh's frustration, depression, madness, hallucinations, loneliness, hardships and fears. And this little video will take you through many of those fascinating drawings with stunning lines and details and which will put a little thought when Van Gogh expresses concern "because He did  not  know how to draw". Many of these drawings Van Gogh's paintings became precious. I hope you will end up  delighted to see both  fine detailed lines and display  of wonderful art contained in his letters.
